Body Mass Index is one of the indicators of health. BMI is calculated using your height and weight. A higher BMI will indicate increased risk to lifestyle related disorders. Diabetes, hypertension, heart diseases and obesity are some of them.

Normal range (18.5 – 22.9) Normal
Overweight (23 – 24.9) Average
Pre-obese (25 – 29.9) Increased
Obese Class I (30.0 – 34.9) Moderate
Obese Class II (35.0 – 39.9) Severe
Obese Class III (> = 40.0) Very severe
